I'm Matt. I am refitting and restoring a legendary race boat, known as Duracell. Duracell was built by legendary American sailor, Mike Plant, who beat the American record for solo circumnavigation in the first Vendee Globe in 1989. I am lucky to own this piece of American racing history. With a storied past and a 25 year pause on the hard, Duracell's story now continues with us. My wife and I are determined to refit Duracell into a fast and comfortable cruising home.
