Ahren Stroming is the Executive Policy Advisor for Puget Sound Partnership; a state agency leading the region’s collective effort to restore and protect Puget Sound by bringing together hundreds of partners to mobilize action and investments around a common agenda for Puget Sound recovery.

Ahren is a Port Townsend resident and an environmental policy professional whose work focuses on salmon recovery and the maritime industry. He holds a BA in Politics and Environmental Studies from Whitman College and a Master's degree in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg in Germany. Ahren is a budding sailor who is building a 18' wooden sailboat together with his wife (and the assistance of the NW Maritime Center boat shop)!
