Hailing from throughout the Puget Sound area, the Backwoods Hucksters bring a slightly psychedelic twist to their American Roots song-bag. A blues-band at its core, the Hucksters weave together bluegrass, country, folk, rock, and country blues into a tapestry of music we call Mountain Blues.

Mountain Blues suggests the dynamic interplay between the Irish-influenced mountain music of the Appalachian Mountains and the African-influenced country blues and ragtime music from the American South. The Hucksters bring an updated vibe, incorporating the dance-band sound of the Grateful Dead into the mix, with a little Rock-n-roll spilling into the set.....imminently listenable and eminently danceable!!
